Quarantined...

Briley had impetigo again! It's on his face this time which is almost impossible to bandage & keep bandaged. If you're not familiar which I know I'd never heard of it until he got it, it's really common in kids with eczema because they have open sores they scratch. It starts as patches of blisters & as they pop, ooze & then it spreads, normally he gets it on his finger & I pop the blisters, he cries & I cry (it's the most awful thing to put your kid in pain ;(! ), but it goes away quicker because I wash it with antibacterial soap, put neosporin on it & cover it up. Can't pop blisters along the bridge of the nose, in the nose or over the eye!!! He keeps trying to scratch it, so I'm trying to wash it a lot, neosporin it & cover it the best I can, but as you can see that's not working too well!! Briley was saying he was a band aid super hero last night...at least he can laugh at himself cause he does look pretty silly..poor guy!! Pray for us, we don't like being cooped up... but it's highly contagious!!
